Some tips on how to deal with an employment agency.
– Make sure that the agency is able to find you a job in your field before you apply;
-Ensure that your curriculum vitae (CV) and cover letter are written to perfection, without spelling and grammar mistakes, before submitting it to an agency;
– Please feel free to contact the agency and follow up if you have not heard from them after your meeting. Employment agencies deal with several files at the same time, and it is preferable to do your follow-ups about once a week so that your file remains in their memory;
– Never let yourself be influenced by an agency that would like to place you in a position you do not want.
These agencies are usually private companies that are looking for people to fill job postings. They don’t hire staff for themselves, they look for staff for other companies. Their job is to find you a job at another company, on a temporary or full-time basis.
